NASPE is important! (chapters 1-3)

NASPE and AAHPERDAfter reading through the first three chapters , I have grasped a better understanding of how important The National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) is. The National Standards for Physical Education help to develop and improve the quality of hor children can be assessed with the basics of fundamentals and skills. Before NASPE, a lot of this did not occur. I can say for myself that we never had any of these regulations in my school or maybe they just weren’t important to those educators. After reading though the NASPE website http://www.aahperd.org/naspe/, I gained an even larger grasp on how important they are. Through these regulations children and professionals can become better educators and overall healthier human beings. As many people know it is extremely important for children to stay active and learn the basic fundamental skills and then even more important for them to be assessed by their professional physical educators (US!). if we the professionals are role models to our students and define what the term physical educator means, our students will then begin to gain the knowledge of how important it is to stay physically active and healthy.
